Strategic Plan. We are a proud, confident and connected kura that engages in inspiring projects unique to Maruia.

Projects our school are currently involved in, that embrace this aspect of our Strategic Plan, are:

• Kowhai propagation and planting
• School and community vegetable and fruit garden
• We complete an annual tramp to the Lake Daniell Hut as we are kaitiaki of this special place
• Students are actively involved in the maintenance of the school grounds and creation of outdoor learning spaces
• We are a proud EnviroSchool
